Re: Ebola in Dallas, Texas
"A former adjunct associate professor for the University of Alabama at Birmingham is among those working for a company the federal government has tasked with developing an Ebola vaccine." "The Department of Health and Human Services awarded an $8.2 million contract Tuesday to Baltimore-based Profectus BioSciences Inc. for the research and development of an Ebola vaccine. Its version of the vaccine has proven 100 percent effective in animal tests, the company said." The vaccine has proven 100 percent effective in animal tests. I'm not saying it will be 100 percent effective on humans but it sounds very promising imo. |

Re: Ebola in Dallas, Texas
Do you realize how long a drug is typically tested before it's released to the population? You realize this hasn't been tested on humans yet right? You realize this is a completely different strain than any previous outbreak right? Go ahead, call me paranoid You're living in a fantasy world. The AVERAGE time for a new drug to go from a laboratory to the store shelves is 12 YEARS. |

ZMapp is the drug and it's getting the fast-track from the FDA to be approved very soon. It's the drug that was used on the two doctors successfully.. http://thehill.com/policy/healthcare...ne-development |
