Dutch Crime Reporter Shot in Broad Daylight.
Peter R de Vries is badly injured and probably not going to make it. Shot through the head several times. This happened in of course, Amsterdam, one hour ago. This reporter isn't my cup of tea but this sickens me. He just came from a live tv show, stepped outside and was gunned down. Shooter was arrested 30 minutes ago. Peter is known for his work in the Nathalee Holloway case and connections with the underworld.

You know, this guy used to be an actual respectable crime reporter back in the late 90s who unfortunately grew into the arrogant, media hungry, manipulatieve sensation-seeking ratface we all know today, and who I've grown to really hate with a passion but even if this 'bound to happen at some point', he sure didn't deserves this. That being said, I put my bet on the following 3 options; Either a revenge act in connection the W. Holleder case or the J. Van der Sloot case (seeing how rumors had it for a while now that both of those sh*ts offered a royal sum of money to whoever laid him of) OR mocromobsters working for Nabil B. who obviously aren't too pleased about Peter being a crown witness in the case against him. I guess we'll find out more in 20 minutes when they hold a press conference. (I honestly can't believe they've actually created a NOS live blog for this and are doing a frigging national press conference tbh  )

I doubt that it was Joran :') I'm pretty sure that it was Taghi and his comrades. Peter isn't his first hit and won't be his last. Peter was in the midst of something important so they had to be quick.

they arrested 3 and one of them was the shooter. He's incredible lucky still being alive if at least 3 bullets went into his head.  |

As Peter R. de Vries already indicated in 2019, he was on the death list of Ridouan Taghi, the main suspect in the Marengo trial, so many people are now asking why he (apparently) did not allow himself to be actively protected. Ex-colleague Kees van der Spek told RTL Late Night last night that - unlike other crime reporters - it was probably a conscious choice, since he also had his father's life motto "Rather live upright than die on his knees" on his leg. The images below ↑↑ show the moment that he is on his way to his car after the RTL Boulevard broadcast well to me this shows that Dutch intelligence and coppers are lagging behind, and some are corrupted. The port of R'dm is EU biggest, perhaps also in narc traffic. This is a bizniz attack, but poorly executed anyway. Why shoot at such a busy place, which is very hard too escape from? Was the time pressure on? Anyhow this is a well bred journalist, not a politician like Fortuyn Pim ho was murdered. So now it is clear the Dutch state of justice is under attack. I feel this is going to have much more consequences: more attacks, more political fall out... |

1 reason for this is that other (live treatened) journos have had consealed protection, unwanted or not. last years the freq. and intensity of attacks increased |

One of the suspects is a polish, maroccan guy, Kamil Pawel E, 35, who likes boxing, living in Maurik. Another susppect ,21, probably the shooter, that was caught lives in Rotterdam but also has lives in another town called Tiel. He's named as rapper Delano G aka Demper.
