Drone Delivers Contraband to Inmate at Cuyahoga County Jail Facility in Euclid
CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Cuyahoga County officials released surveillance video that shows a drone dropping a delivery off from above to an inmate at the jail facility in Euclid. Inmates are seen in the jail exercise yard as the delivery is dropped off in July. According to Cuyahoga County Jail officials, the package contained tobacco and a cellphone. Prosecutors are reviewing the case. At this time, no additional charges have been filed against the inmate and the person operating the drone has not been identified. https://www.cleveland19.com/2019/09/...cility-euclid/ |

This kind of thing has been going on for a while, but usually there's no footage of it. I'm just wondering how long it will be before there are drones powerful enough to lift people out of prisons.

Aren't the outside cages closed with you know- cages? I visited a real creep in jail once in the 90's-La Tuna-and I kept staring at the roofs of the inside/outside patio. Caged from every angle.

Depends on how remote the location, security level-Min-Med-Max and just the general budget. I've seen medium security prisons caged out the ass and Max prisons in remote locations that have open skies. I'm guessing this prison might get some new construction?
