Dramatic footage has just been released by a bystander who witnessed the shootout near Ingram books earlier this evening. Apparently the suspect was shooting with an AK-47 and a Glock 9mm at Douglas County Sheriff's Officers, as both guns were in the vehicle when it was stolen.

The bystander never saw the suspect leave the vehicle after the shootout. The suspects vehicle then caught fire and completely burned up. Confirmed: Suspect has deceased.

This all took place off Grants Smith Road just south of Ingram books in Green. That's off exit 119 on I-5.

This vehicle was stolen from Eugene area on March 7 with reportedly an AK-47 with a 75 round drum as well as a Glock 9mm in it.

The primary suspect was a younger black male, was seen at Love's truck stop with an older white male who was sitting in the passenger seat of the stolen vehicle. An observant local man recognized the stolen vehicle and called it in. When police arrived, two sheriff's cars and one Oregon State Patrol, the two suspects took off in the stolen car and ended up on Grant Smith Road. This is where the shootout took place. It is believed that both suspects we're found deceased and the vehicle burned up. More details should be available in the morning.

It's still unknown at this time what happened to the second suspect, the older white male.
