Re: Dog Savages Champion Horse
Lots of hunting dogs can take down a horse. Plott Hounds, Mountain Curs, Blackmouth Curs, any of the varieties of Catahoulas, Walkers, Redbones and many many more. Get off your kids high horse John you 're just making yourself look more and more like the dumb shit we all believe you to be.

Re: Dog Savages Champion Horse
If you go back to my original post you will notice I said I can't wait until someone PROVES it was something other than a pitbull. I suppose perhaps that dog ownership does something to the short term memory...

Re: Dog Savages Champion Horse
The attack was a "pit bull" type of attack. Many dog owners are like heroin addicts. They insist there is no problem. No matter what. Meanwhile, the horse is still gone and the dog owner still has not taken responsibility. Like a typical pit bull owner. Over the years, I have had more than one dog owner vigorously defend their dogs and insist that "they don't bite"...while they were biting me. |

Re: Dog Savages Champion Horse
I can't PROVE it wasn't a pit bull any more than you can PROVE it was. I'm going by what was said in the article, I don't read extra bullshit into articles because I want it to be there. I'm feel very safe saying you know just as little as I do about this and I saw NOTHING that said anything about pit bulls. That statement is strictly yours. Your piss bucket has a hole in it son.

Re: Dog Savages Champion Horse
I've experienced the very same thing but it's never been a pit bull that was chewing on my leg. I've heard Corky doesn't bite all the while standing there with blood running down my leg because Corky bit me. Your complaint isn't breed specific, its irresponsible owner specific. Breed is irrelevant.

Re: Dog Savages Champion Horse
Exactly. Actually, the ones that attacked me were only hybrids but the owner said it was my fault because I went to close to his truck. I was 100 feet from his truck. And true enough, though I have been attacked by a pitbull I have been bit more often by other dogs. Not that the pitbull wasn't dangerous.. I just am more careful now that I have been bitten a few times. And the pitbulls I have seen have been way more ferocious and muscular. Any dog can do damage. So every dog should be under the control of it's owner at all times. So tired of all the lame defenses: "It's not the dog's fault". "The dog was provoked". And this said about a dog that killed an infant. I guess the baby was deserving to die since it knew better. Or "It wasn't really a pit bull". Like it matters. Pit bulls are just as dangerous as any dog and more so because they are naturally more aggressive and often refuse to be distracted from a fight and are more powerful with a disproportionately large and powerful bite. The mechanics of the jaw and size make it's bite much more dangerous than most other dogs. |
