Re: Details From The Death of Steve Irwin
I wish I could find footage of Arnez J's routine about him. Funny stuff! He was alive at the time, but, when you fuck with nature, sooner or later, it's got to backfire! There is or was, good footage because they were filming. I have never found it. To edit, you need to donate more money and your name will be blue. You will then see an, "edit," button below your post. |

Re: Details From The Death of Steve Irwin
You obviously know nothing about his conservation efforts of many species of animals all over the globe and still does after his death. To help a species you need to understand it. It's ok most humans like you arn't expected to understand that because it's part of our domesticated condition.

Re: Details From The Death of Steve Irwin
[QUOTE=Sypher209;4170268]I knew Steve, he was a regular bloke around my town, my father use to have beers with him at the pub. My best mates mother was a cafeteria worker at his Australia Zoo, though I remember way back when it was still Beerwah Reptile Park. He was exactly the same outgoing and passionate bloke in life as he was behind the camera, his death had a huge impact around He did so much for wildlife conservation and changed the world doing so, RIP Steve, you will always have a special place in my heart and to those who knew you for who you truly were. Re: Details From The Death of Steve Irwin
There's a brilliant Australian horror movie entitled Long Weekend (1978) (remade in 2009 as Nature's Grave with Jim Caviezel) about Nature getting back at Man in a subtle yet deeply disturbing manner. That's what the Steve Irwin story reminds me of - Nature getting back at Man for not having a healthy enough respect for it.
