My mom and I were at the Contemporary today and saw a huge security presence. Found out that a woman had apparently killed herself by jumping from the Contemporary. I think the white sheet might be where the body was but don't quote me.

A woman died at Disney's Contemporary Resort on Wednesday from an apparent suicide, the Orange County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies responded to the hotel at about 4 p.m. after receiving a call about someone jumping from the building.

When first responders arrived, they found a woman unresponsive. She was later pronounced dead at the scene. Reedy Creek firefighters also responded to the scene.

Deputies say they think the incident is a suicide.

No other details have been made available.

In 2016, deputies investigated a death at the Contemporary Resort. At the time investigators said they believed "the person took their own life."

We saw someone fall from the hotel. I didn’t personally witness it. My mother in law was with me on the monorail, and she claims she saw it (and gasped), but I was looking down

She jumped after she saw her lodging bill at checkout!
