Darkness and Fear. Stuck in a Walk-In Freezer in Joplin,MO When the Tornado Hit.
You don't see much as they only have emergency power, but the sounds of the people, the sounds of impending death, and the claustrophobic dark are scarier than ANY movie ever made. <object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/cQnvxJZucds?version=3"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/cQnvxJZucds?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></object> So, who would you cry out for when death comes for you? |

"I love everyone, I love everyone man" and then the woman "Jesus Jesus Jesus, Heavenly Father" This is crazy. I'm glad the ones around here (Oklahoma) weren't this bad today. |

This video is just amazing. I don't know how these people survived as they were literally IN an EF5 tornado (the strongest on the EF scale); the part of the video from about 2:17 to 3:03 basically took place inside the funnel. Also, this tornado happened during the daylight hours (about 5:41pm), but just look how dark it is outside in the beginning of the vid! |

Even an atheist will cry out "Oh, my God!" when his ass looks doomed. The follow-up video makes it particularly poignant. I wonder if this guy should have been crawling around in there... notice all of that blood on the metal toward the end? It looks pretty precarious. Maybe he helped himself to a few beers from the beer wall? PS. I'd be pretty annoyed if someone spray painted a giant X on my car. |

Re: Darkness and Fear. Stuck in a Walk-In Freezer in Joplin,MO When the Tornado Hit.
^^A pretty dumb statement of 'fact'. It's like saying "Even a christian will realise god was a comforting illusion right before they die" I'm sure an atheist somewhere at some point became a believer right before death. Im sure a christian somewhere at some point lost faith right before they bit the big one. Even if it's your opinion you shouldn't go around stating it as fact now should you? |

Was in Joplin, MO (an hour from where I live) at 3:00pm that day. You want to talk about the nicest day outside, then it turned to that...crazy. Had family there, everyone made it out okay though.
