Police seize 800kg of dagga in harbour

Johannesburg - About 800kg of dagga worth an estimated R12.5m were confiscated at Durban's harbour on Friday, siad KwaZulu-Natal police.

Spokesperson Vincent Mdunge said in a statement that the drugs had been concealed in re-stitched charcoal bags, hidden in a container behind drums of fruit juice and car engine parts.


The container came from Gauteng and had been due to be shipped to Europe
