Dad Has Gun in Pocket.. So He Takes a Nap
Police are investigating after a three-year-old boy shot a family member in the face on Saturday. Patrick Sanders, 20, is listed in critical condition after suffering a point-blank gunshot wound to the head while sleeping on Saturday, the Houston Press reported. Police believe Sanders was napping on the couch in the living room of his apartment when a handgun in his pocket slipped out and fell onto the floor. Sanders awoke to find it in the hands of the boy, police said. The victim apparently tried to snatch the gun from the toddler but the weapon fired. Sanders was struck in the face. The child was not injured during the incident, according to the paper. |
