Re: Dad Charged After Baby Dies in Hot Car
Same could be said for them, until it happened. It's a horrible, tragic accident. My friend's husband wasn't on drugs. He's not a stupid guy. It happened to a DOCTOR in my city a few years back. It really can happen to anyone. Scary shit. |

Re: Dad Charged After Baby Dies in Hot Car
complacency happens to all of us... however, complacency during a time when you are charged with caring for a life and that complacency causes a life, that complacency turns to neglect, imho. It's like owning a gun....if a gun owner gets complacent about the weapon and a child kills themselves or somebody else with it, that complacency turns to neglect and that person is at fault. It doesnt make the incident less tragic but it is what it is, imo.

Re: Dad Charged After Baby Dies in Hot Car
Of course the person is at fault. I never said someone who leaves a baby in a car is blameless. I'm just saying its a mistake they have to live with the rest of their lives, which is a punishment I couldn't imagine. He doesn't deserve to be put to death or roast in hell for making a mistake. Now, someone who beats a baby to death? That person deserves the worst kind of torture. It's about intent in my eyes. |
