Most sea turtles are endangered species, I am so glad they were able to intercept this travesty! I wonder how many would have died senselessly on their journey.

The Italians arrived in Yaylalar village of Yusufeli township in Turkey as tourists. Residents informed the General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks and gendarmerie teams of two people hunting butterflies.

Teams arrived in the village and caught two Italian nationals in the act.

682 native Yusufeli butterflies and 11 caterpillars were found in a search of their caravan.

The foreign nationals were detained.

If you watch the video you he says they were in suitcases.
