Creationist Science Textbook
Without further ado: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The book was published by Bob Jones University, South Carolina, a christian university that based on it's interpretation of the bible "completely excluded black applicants until 1971, and from 1971 until 1975, admitted black students only if they were married. After 1975, the University began to admit unmarried black applicants, but continued to deny 'admission to applicants engaged in an interracial marriage or known to advocate interracial marriage or dating.' The University also imposed a disciplinary rule that prohibited interracial dating." (from wiki: Bob Jones University v. United States) They dropped the no interracial dating rule only in 2000... I though that the Dover trial already established that creationism can not be taught in science classes because it has been determined that it's NOT actually science... (Kitzmiller v. Dover Area School District) The original article: 11 Eye-Opening Highlights From a Creationist Science Textbook |

Re: Creationist Science Textbook
Open a text book, it states facts. Open this book? It preaches to you and demands you take its word as gospel. I have never seen a documentary, encyclopedia or google take me by the scruff of the neck and preach to me. Stuff like this is psychologically damaging and removed from humanity as quickly as possible, even if it is old. Stuff like this is preached today however and its quite disturbing. |
