The Courageous Manslaughter Er

LOS ANGELES -- Caitlyn Jenner could face a vehicular manslaughter charge after sheriff's investigators found she was driving unsafely when she caused a chain-reaction crash that killed a woman last February, officials said Thursday.

Investigators determined Jenner was driving at a speed "unsafe for the prevailing road conditions," Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman Nicole Nishida said.

Jenner was hauling an off-road vehicle on a trailer behind her Cadillac Escalade on Feb. 7 when she steered to avoid cars slowing for a traffic light in front of her on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.

Jenner was unable to stop in time, and her SUV rear-ended two cars, pushing a Lexus into oncoming traffic and also hitting a Toyota Prius. The driver of the Lexus, 69-year-old Kim Howe, was killed when her car was struck head-on by a Hummer.

Re: The Courageous Manslaughter Er

She was a he when this occurred I believe.

So actually it wasn't her, it was him. And he's gone.

I bet the family of the deceased was beside themselves when Jenner was honored with an award.

Of course the media didn't give a damn about the family. Jenner is a hero in an effort to further demonize the image of an American male.

But...but...'she's' so "wonderful".

'She's' a "hero".

'She's' the "prettiest 'girl' at the ball".

Exactly. And you can bet if say any of the Republican nominees were the one responsible for this. Their public life would be over, as the media wouldn't shut up about it. But with Jenner, they are silent.

Of course Jenner isn't running for president, so it's a little bit different. But he was honored with a pretty big award on prime time TV, not too mention his own TV show.

So his career has taken off since the accident.
