You'd think Fentanyl would be more expensive than Oxy. I guess not. And why not be forthcoming with what it is? If it gets you high - they aren't going to care. Junkies don't seem to be the most picky of consumers. |

Saw in the news A morgue in Ohio had to rent a van or something to store bodies because of the number of fatal ods. I wondered the other day, if this will be the last generation to get hooked on these drugs because of all this attention on this subject. |

I wonder what strength they thought they were? Green oxy's are 15mg, 30mg, 80mg, depending. I'd like to know what the imprint on the pills was.

Some of them are. If they are aware of an allergy, I wouldn't think they're going to knowingly purchase that particular drug. (If we are talking about rx drugs.)

Re: Couple Charged With Murder After Supplying Fentanyl As Fake Oxycodone
Carfentanil is supposedly 100x stronger than Fentanyl (10,000x more powerful than morphine) and is becoming increasingly available. At this point, the drugs are so powerful that they cannot be reliably mixed thoroughly and uniformly enough with inert ingredients - outside a laboratory - prior to handling by an end user. The very slightest lack of uniformity of a 'cut' means that some doses are stronger - very easily lethally so - and others are weaker. If you are dealing with heroin, the differences in dose strength are not as likely to end in death by overdose, though it does still happen. Since Fentanyl is 50x stronger than heroin, differences in dose strength are understandably causing many more deaths by overdose than did heroin. With Carfentanil being 100x stronger than even Fentanyl, the differences in dose strength are more lethal than ever before. And there will likely be another 'Super Opioid' that will come along that far surpasses Carfentanil in strength and lethality. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...=.8a7353f3b4a9 |

Re: Couple Charged With Murder After Supplying Fentanyl As Fake Oxycodone
Sad, but you are very likely to be correct. I was very surprised when there started being confirmed reports of illicit carfentanil causing people to OD. That shit is wicked-powerful and virtually impossible to use recreationally. *sigh* I guess it's only a matter of time before we hear reports of ohmefentanyl ODs next. |
