Its not news, its propaganda. How in the hell can someone illegally occupying someone else's land be considered a refugee if they are forced to leave that land? |

From what I gather (and I'm no history student) Israel was created from bits of Syria that my British ancestors decided to call Palestine and then decided to turn over to the Jews. That's the story I got from my grandfather who served in the middle east during the second world war... ...and a cursory glance of Wiki would seem to back that up. So, ancient history to one side the land has a whole number of people making claims on it. All because my ancestors just had to fucking meddle. |
