Cop's Cam Disputes Firefighter's Race Claim
Black people need to realize this stuff happens to white people too. It appears the officer was under the impression nobody was supposed to be there, so of course he's going to take precaution when he finds this guy inside.

Re: Cop's Cam Disputes Firefighter's Race Claim
Just because he's a whiner and looking for an easy buck, does not automatically mean the cop did something wrong or racist. I saw absolutely nothing improper, unbecoming, racist, illegal, or out of policy. The young officer should be commended for handling the situation professionally and kindly. They should go after that Fire Engineer for filing a false police report then sue the living shit out of him personally.

Re: Cop's Cam Disputes Firefighter's Race Claim
Oakland? Oh, yeah. No need for a cop...especially a white cop...to be very very careful in that situation. Oakland is known for it's love of cops. Especially white cops. And it's lack of crime. In fact, Oakland is widely known as the safest city in the entire nation. The entire world in fact. Why, there hasn't been a single crime occur in Oakland in anyones' living memory. Just a paradise on Earth. |

Re: Cop's Cam Disputes Firefighter's Race Claim
""He approached my children first crouched down with his hand on his gun and they said, 'Dad, he scared us,'" said Jones. "I would hope that if my kids were out late and something happened that they would go to a police officer for help. But I don't think they will now. I know they won't now." Then this father of the year needs to explain to his sons that what the officer did was perfectly justified and the reason they are alive to tell their story is because they listened to the officer's instructions. It's a simple concept. Chances are he won't use this as a learning tool, but a tool to further instill distrust of police in his young sons. |
