Frankly, Andria, some of THE MOST POLITICALLY CORRECT people I know are the most venomous and vitriolic racists on the planet. The idea of anti-abortion sentiments on ANY license plate would piss me off as much as seeing cult, fundamentalist religion or partisan political plates from any state, territory or Canadian province. Only thing that would piss me off more is a South Dakota plate with a George Custer theme.
Go visit the wind River range and you will feel all spiritual about it....custers spirit is there also....

There are klan members trying to actively recruit here all the time. I'd hate to have that on my car and those pricks think it was an open invitation to come up and knock on my door.

The stars and bars flag is a symbol of the south in general.
Every person has their own reasons for it, for some, it's just proud to be southern. For others, it could mean remembering how far we've come. And yes there will always be those people who will relate it to racism, but what are they really upset about?
The fact that the flag reminds them?
Or that racism still exists?

Allow me to be the first. I've dated many women who are not white, including Asians, Hispanics, and yes, even black women. I've always sported a Confederate battle flag. The only people who see it as a tool of racism are the people who see racism and race everywhere they look. If you "find" racism everywhere, YOU are the racist.

It's a symbol of my heritage and of the freedom that my forefathers fought for. It's a symbol of the history of my family and area. It has not a damn thing to do with race or slavery.
