I just bought the complete series box set off ebay for £70  It's bound to rise in price now so bargain, plus i get to watch them all again |

R.I.P.  The Columbo series was very very popular in Italy (but also in the rest of Europe): the so called "inverted detective story" format (where the perpetrator is known since the begin) worked well only with Columbo. Many others tried to copy that format, unsuccessfully. |

They actually made a series in 1979 called 'Mrs.Columbo' which starred Kate Mulgrew(of Star Trek:Voyager fame).Think it lasted a season.As Mulgrew was only 38 when she started on Voyager in the mid '90s,she would have been in her early twenties then.Weird casting,eh?
