K-9...that was a well stated post...you sound like my wife, in a good way though. I understand exactly what you're saying. I fear what my girls have already been exposed to with regard to stereotypes and societal beauty expectations/standards. I fear anorexia for my girls like the plague. Given that they were adopted (from Russia too) I always worry that, though they'll fine now, someday all their early trauma will bubble up and manifest itself in odd ways (cutting, weight loss, slutty behaviors). Everything has been great since we got them, but I think adoptive parents worry a little more.

Oh, I think I know the difference. It's like comparing a hobo to a shabby millionaire. Most of the escorts I've met over the years are very attractive, but there's a lot more to them than looks. They are usually educated, professional, articulate, young women. They're more like a Japaneese Gisha, but with a happy ending. The get caught by law enforcement every so often, so they share an occupational hazard with street prostitutes. Many also have the same drug habits that their sister street prostitutes have, but are able to cover it up with money and layers of middlemen between them and street drug dealers. I make no judgements on your choices, but knowing what I know, I fear for your safety...and maybe your sole a little bit also.

Mizz Russia, I'm sorry, I didn't realize that you stopped the escort thing. I thought you were still working as one. Ok...I will worry for your safety and sole less now. I've been to good old Mother Russia a couple of times (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novgorad areas) so I completely understand the economic/cultural situation...and how difficult a life it is for women. Maybe she did think that the video would leak out eventually, but didn't think people would attack her for it. When I did mine, I didn't think that mine would leak out on pornhub and get half a million views in less than 3 months... but it happened and I brushed it off and moved on because I knew the consequences and knew where to go if I felt down. Sure A LOT of people I went to school with and college with saw the video, but their opinion and attitude never changed because most of them knew me. My real friends stayed by my side.

If it is shameful to do porn, it should be shameful to all the people that watched it. Because of the demand, these girls are the supply. It should be shameful for people that feel it is right to attack people for living their life the way they wanted or the path they chose. I didn't Ragret nothing... not even one letter :P. I also think she was going through more than just bullying over porn. Maybe that was her breaking point.
