Jumbo just means 'big', not necessarily 'obese'. And 'big' does not mean unhealthy. It seems odd to me the Government is so concerned with numbers and aesthetics rather than the actual health of Japanese citizens.

I don't think there are enough different synonyms in the English language for the word 'fat' to cover all the different sizes needed for American sizes.  Only in America have I ever seen people so fat they literally need to buy clothes the size of a medium sized family tent. |
