"Psychic" is not a fake thing - but it is unreliable enough to be deemed mostly useless on the ability to be used as a weapon and such.

It's not a fixed super power. It is also highly dependent on concentration. Different people get it in different ways. Some see things, some hear, some smell, some feel.

There is no way it is accurate enough for someone to be on TV and do consistently accurate "Readings". Especially since some people are easier to connect with than others.

If you are feeling ill, distracted tired ect - it will be even harder to get accuracy. If you're trying to "See" something and you guess or assume before you get the complete image, it will throw you off - like the "water drops coming off of the page" that were actually grapes. The image starts to form, but your brain wants to jump to conclusions. It's hard to avoid that.

The only evidence I have is that I didn't believe in anything like this and found it to be complete bullshit - but I was curious, so I studied Animal Communication(on my own) and started practicing. I was very surprised and learned a lot.

I found the experience interesting. It's funny how much my belief that it was accurate, faded - when I stopped practicing.
