They do the eggs too! "Century egg or pidan (Chinese: 皮蛋; pinyin: pídàn), also known as preserved egg, hundred-year egg, thousand-year egg, thousand-year-old egg, and millennium egg, is a Chinese cuisine ingredient made by preserving duck, chicken or quail eggs in a mixture of clay, ash, salt, quicklime, and rice hulls for several weeks to several months, depending on the method of processing" |

I think eating anything that dates back to the Johnson administration that has survived into the 21st century would cause food poisoning at the least and a painful bloody pukey shitty-pants death at the most. Hence the "for decorative/collectible purposes only" on shit like Popeye's Spinach, Old Mother Fukker's peanuts and C-rations that date back to that era on eBay. |

My favorite one are eggs soaked in the urine of little virgin boys. not sure if that is Japanese or Chinese. It was posted here about a year ago. But those are totally normal for them. Expired poultry is not normal anywhere!
