If you check the photos, you will see his body is covered by two separate yellow covers. If you look at them closely, you can actually see the blood seeping through on each piece. The photo can be hard to make out if you don't know what to look for as the slide has black areas on the bottom making the blood look darker than it is.

Multiple reports are confirming this, sadly. Also, the rafts have POV cameras. There's a good chance the vids will get leaked at some stage by someone... not that I particularly want to see it myself. Poor kid. |

my ex hyper-extended his knew at a water park in Dallas in 1981, he is such a jerk he deserves it lol his knew was bending backwards so much the crowd cringed at the sight of it. He was 6 ft 7 and the landing pool was only 3 feet deep with 2 feet of padding, that pad caught his leg and stood him up busting his knee, he now has arthritis, we got 30K but only cleard 15, not enough for a lifetime of busted knee, but like I said he was such a jerk its like KARMA

I thought that the red was the coloring of the end of the slide. It looks too uniform to be blood.

I can assure you it's blood. I've been on this slide two different times. The standard color down there is yellow, and along the bottom is a black bezeled area that acts like grip-tape for you to stand on (since this is the area your raft washes down to afterward).

Oh, so it's pooled water. I thought it was empty at the bottom. That would explain the uniformity of the coloring. How horrifying for the other riders and for his family.  |

You can actually see what looks like his arm hanging into the water from out of that lower tarp, if I'm not mistaken.
