Shocking footage has emerged showing two pedestrians being ploughed into by a Ford Kuga car in Liverpool city centre.
The horrific CCTV video, filmed from a camera belonging to neraby nightclub Diablos, shows a group of four men crossing the road at the junction of Slater Street and Bold Street at around 2.45am on Christmas Eve.
The group look before crossing the road, but as they begin to cross a white car races round the corner knocking the two at the back of the group over.
One of the men is thrown to the ground near Wok and Go, while the other is dragged further down the street by the car, which runs completely over him, before making off down Slater Street.
Staff from nearby Diablos bar and clubbers rush to the man's aid as he lies motionless on the ground.
A 19-year-old man has been arrested after two teenagers where injured in a hit-and-run as they enjoyed a night out in the early hours of Christmas Eve.
Merseyside Police have said that one of the men, 19, is in a serious but stable condition and the other, also 19, suffered some minor facial injuries.
