Re: Cameron Unveils Online Porn Curbs
Dr and the likes will be blocked. Youtube can be seen as adult due to a lot of content being on it. Forums that allow rude language and gifs/pictures to be uploaded. This will affect traffic to these sites and advertising revenue will go down. Not that gore sites will be affected but the forums that aren't really supposed to be 18+ will bring new rules into force. I've seen it happen to two other forums, the google advertising was down because the sites were flagged by trusted software blocking companies. 100+ members were banned as a result. |

Re: Cameron Unveils Online Porn Curbs
I think that's a bit wrong. I don't watch the fucked up porn, but damn it, I like my porn! Why do I have to seek permission and such to enjoy it? Thank gosh I don't live in the UK. Maybe it's just me but...I like my porn. |

Re: Cameron Unveils Online Porn Curbs
I'm all for stopping kiddie porn, but adults should have the right to decide for themselves. If the government starts telling the people what they can access online, where does it stop? And if you want to access porn from your house, you have to go on a special list now?

Re: Cameron Unveils Online Porn Curbs
So this means that if I visit documenting reality I can go to prison? This sight does have some apparent real rape of a reporter on it. I am sure it would be illegal to buy the beheadings in a shop as well so that means they will be illegal not to mention everything else. I wish they were more clear on the matter. |

Re: Cameron Unveils Online Porn Curbs
It's not a bad thing because since all this porn on the net has been about I'm pretty sure young people have been slutting it about a lot more and playing out gangbangs and stuff. Plus it's not compulsory for adults as they will have a choice of whether to get it blocked or not. It's not a list

Re: Cameron Unveils Online Porn Curbs
The creep of censorship under the usual pretence of 'protecting the children'. It's the responsibility of parents to raise children, not of the state. In fact it's important we don't allow the state to indoctrinate children. The software they want to use in enforce this was created by the Chinese government for it's censorship of the internet. Governments fear the internet because they can't control it's content.
