Bully's Stepmom Forces Her to Wear Thrift Shop Clothing to School As Punishment
They showed the girl's face on our news, but, I cannot find any pictures of her. Pretty girl. Bully Forced to Wear Thrift Store Clothes as Punishment for Dissing Classmate's Outfits Kaylee's stepmom, Ally, went out and bought cheap clothes the 10-year-old girl would never wear to teach her empathy. The unnamed victim was being teased so badly for her raggedy rags that she no longer wanted to go to school. By Lee Moran / NEW YORK DAILY NEWS Tuesday, May 21, 2013, 7:51 AM KSTU Ally tried to speak with her step-daughter Kaylee, but when the girl didn't take her seriously Ally went out and bought $50 of 'punishment' outfits. A Utah girl who bullied a classmate for her fashion sense was forced to wear thrift store clothes as punishment. Kaylee, 10, was ordered by her step-mom to don outfits she'd never usually wear for two days in a row so she would feel empathy for her victim. She was taken to a store and told to pick out the ugliest outfits she could find. Fox13 reports that the fourth-grader from Murray had been tormenting the other student for at least three weeks - telling her she "dressed like a sleaze." Ally said between tears that when she wore her thrift store clothes that her classmates talked behind her back. A teacher contacted her step-mom, Ally, saying the abuse had gotten so bad that her target no longer wanted to go into school. Ally, who wants to keep her last name anonymous, spoke with her stepdaughter. "Someone not wanting to go to school anymore based off of something that one other little person said to them. I mean, that's huge, that's damaging," said Ally. Ally said she had to take her step-daughter's behavior seriously: 'Someone not wanting to go to school anymore based off of something that one other little person said to them. I mean, that's huge, that's damaging.' But, when Kaylee didn't take the warning seriously, she ordered the unique disciplinary action - spending $50 on outfits she knew the girl would never normally wear. When Kaylee woke up last Thursday morning, she discovered she had a cheap outfit and sneakers ready to wear to school. Bursting into tears, she said classmates talked behind her back when she showed up at school, reports KSTU-TV. But, it had also taught her a lesson, she added. I hope the girl learned we cannot always get whatever we want whenever we want and not to tease people for what they do or don't have. I wish I could put up our local news video. The mom had jeans with embroidered pockets and some multi colored shirt. Kids can be really mean when they start forming their cliques! 10 is kind of young. Before then, they take people as they are. My great niece wanted African American hair, "so she could make all the cool hair styles." They took a poll on msn, I believe, and a lot of people felt the mother was wrong and the punishment was too harsh I think it was perfect punishment for her to walk in the other girl's shoes and see what see went through |

I find that mom's actions amazing. I mean to actually punish your step-daughter to that max is a good thing. Now that little shit knows how it feels. |

Seems like a fitting punishment. However, taking photos and reporting her actions to the press seems over the top. What purpose does that serve outside of attaining her 15mins of fame?

It plays. One has to click on the, "You tube (Short URL), " at the very top of the rectangle, for it to play. It's fine. I never heard it until now. Thank you Kids want to look like everyone else when they get to school most of the time. I think uniforms in public schools was the right choice. The toddlers don't care. They just want to explore everything and have fun. |
