Re: Brzezinski: US Should Deploy Troop to Baltics
If we did not follow our impeachment process to remove our elected leader, allowed fighters with openly nazi ideology to fight with our military, had nazi's in our government...... Then yeah, that would be an issue. Having Nazis in your nation is one thing, allowing them to take up arms and giving them positions in your government is entirely different. |

Re: Brzezinski: US Should Deploy Troop to Baltics
First of all Crimea was taken by the Russian military, then the election followed. It wasn't the other way around. Sure, when the Ukrainian leader was ousted by the public it wasn't going along with the constitution, but being invaded militarily and forced to take an election is a whole different story. There are to many hypothetical scenarios you have there. I've not heard anything about their element in the Ukrainian government, or their plans to control Ukraine post victory. Not to mention that the "nazi" element of the population there is less than a fraction of a percent. |

Re: Brzezinski: US Should Deploy Troop to Baltics
History is just that though, in the past. True Russia gave themselves the opportunity to put troops in Crimea if they wanted through treaty, but not Eastern Ukraine. Putin is crossing the line, and he is bringing misery on his people because of it..
