Putin, and Russians in general absolutely can't stand the fact America or Saudi Arabia or any country can effect them.
Like the sanctions, and isolation attempts. The Saudis hurting them with oil, the fact the dollar runs the world. All this fills Russia with disdain for the west and it's allies. Some Western credit agency just downgraded their credit, Obama said their economy is in tatters.
All this is pushing Russia towards getting aggressive.

They feel like their problems all stem from the west. And they can't become a powerful nation under this current world order.

So yes, Russia will make aggressive moves. Because think about it, what is America going to do? Russia has already made weapons deals with Iran, they have their noses up China's ass. The new cold war has already begun. And Russia will look to ally with Western enemies, and build their opposition. And then they can do whatever they want, because Putin will make very clear. Confrontation with Russia would mean war, as he's standing next to a icbm.

Russia invaded Chechnya to neuter an Islamic threat. georgia invaded a Russian ally.

Russia moved to secure a military port it requires to keep control over an area and protect ethnic Russians who want to be in mother fucking Russia.

Its like the English demanding the Irish become a part of England even though they're Irish through and through. Wasn't popular was it?

Ukraine had a leader favoured by Moscow and could be used as a scapegoat for the population as a result of US propaganda.

I was researching the issue, and by treaty Russia has the right to have around 30k troops in Crimea.

When Ukraine was given it's independence this was part of the negotiation.

Don't see how they're Nazi's. They want Russia out of Ukraine. No Russian soldiers, no Russian weapons, no Russian threats or pressure, no government interference. They're not looking to conquer and steal from other nations. They're not looking to round up a certain group of people to exterminate.

I have a feeling if Cuba or any country where US troops are stationed. And that country demanded America get out and leave them alone, you would say America should leave. Treaty or no Treaty.
Russia has had a lot of control over Ukraine for decades now. And Ukraine is basically a shit country. I don't blame them for wanting to go a different direction.
