The point I was making is that guns are so readily available that some killers have literally just gone to their local Walmart, purchased their weapon, and killed that very same day.

I'm surprised by her stupidity. There are several ways that cannabis can be smuggled undetected across borders. Carrying it in the form of a viscous oily liquid is not one of them, given that customs are also looking for nerve agents and poisons which are also often oily substances.
She also had the option of buying it when she arrived in Russia, albeit illegally, but still...
There are only a few countries in the world I would never try to smuggle cannabis into.
Malaysia is the number 1 no no for me, but
Russia is not much further down on that list.
