Re: British Defence Secretary Urges MP's to Allow Bombing IS.

ISIS kills both sunni's & shia..
They brainwashed their fighters so they wont know who's who but are loyal to the isis comanders no mather what..

Anyway, ISIS desperately wants total war between shia/sunni . And that it spills to the neighbouring country's as well.
So they can use the gaos to create a ("islamic") super power in all of this territory..
Bit spooky but they might be able to bring peace to the entire place.. but more like a dictatorship kinda peace lol

fuck that.... imagine them with that kind of power??!!!! no chance...that would be like agreeing to let hitler run europe as he pleases just to keep the peace..

Re: British Defence Secretary Urges MP's to Allow Bombing IS.

It's for naught, the strategy of fighting them at their base has passed, the west will now fight them in our home countries
I don't think it's at that point. Obviously we'd be fighting them already if it was too late. The heads can still be cut off, but terrorism of some affiliation will be an endless fight.

Re: British Defence Secretary Urges MP's to Allow Bombing IS.

When they were in their "base" guys like John McCain were criticizing Obama for not arming and aiding them.

Everybody just can't wait to jump into that shithole, pick a random side and kill people.

It doesn't matter that killing ISIS is directly helping Iran, and Assad, and other terrorist organizations that are presently in Syria fighting ISIS...... Nope, let's just run in and shoot something
You really need to educate yourself. McCain wanted Obama to arm the "Free Syrian Army" Not ISIS.

Re: British Defence Secretary Urges MP's to Allow Bombing IS.

Engaging them in Syria would have an effect, but only if it wasn't limited to air strikes. It's a shame that none of the Western countries with reason to act would ever consider a full-scale occupation.
There shouldn't be a occupation.. The world is different now, occupations in the middle east don't work. It's not like Germany or France where when the war is lost they put down their guns and helped rebuild.
In the middle east there's so many who will never surrender. They don't care about the nation or it's people. They are determined to bring death, chaos, and suffering. No matter what. And they'll use civilians, to create fear, hate, and distrust between everyone involved.
In Iraq President Bush wanted to help the Iraqi people after the war. He wanted Iraq to become a great nation. He did all he could to help them. But ultimately it's up to them, and they failed with all our help. Which should be a lesson And we should never try and rebuild for them.

We should go in, destroy the enemy, and say have a nice day. Send Samuel L Jackson over after we're done to say "don't make me come back here"

Re: British Defence Secretary Urges MP's to Allow Bombing IS.

I've read that Al Sadr has been threatening ISIS for a while now, and he's starting to ramp up his rhetoric. He wants to fight, and he's just as crazy.

It's what ISIS has been wanting all along, a great big Sunni/Shia fight to the death...... Iran and Sadr will give it to them..... Maybe the Saudis will jump in, it will be great.

And we can sit back and let them do their thing, and see where it stands when the dust settles.

We jump in now, and no matter what we will get bogged down in a shithole full of unfriendly Muslims that want to kill us...... They're not worth it.... Fuck em, let them kill each other
Ya,
Let Iran take control of Iraq and Syria. Sure that's not a total disaster.

Re: British Defence Secretary Urges MP's to Allow Bombing IS.

The West is NOT serious yet.

IF...The West ever gets serious, it will move to develop the Next Great Energy Source and wean us off fossil fuel dependence sourced from people that hate us.

The only reason that the moo slum DEATH Cult is able to do anything, is because The Western countries continually empty their collective treasuries into the hands of the terrorists in the form of oil purchases.

The West is the only one that is financing their own destruction.

If The West were Energy Independent, the hadjis wouldn't have enough money to buy a round for a rusty AK.

The West has cost itself TRILLION$ and TRILLION$ in War On Terror expenses that has gone nowhere.

For that kind of money, we could have already developed Energy Independence.

But, we just continue to buy oil from people that forward the money to the many and ever growing number of increasingly effective, organized and lethal moo slum terrorist groups.

Yeah, just send in the Army, spend a few trillion more dollars, and in 5 years repeat the process.

Where does it end?

What's the alternative?

Iraq can't stand on its own, their Army runs away.

No matter who you kill, someone bad will wind up in control.

Send Trump in, Build walls around everything. In time they will kill themselves off on tribe-wars.

All jokes aside, i believe the true hidden purpose of these wars goes deeper than any on here will ever know.

No, left or, right politician can do it better or worse.

Re: British Defence Secretary Urges MP's to Allow Bombing IS.

Yeah, because it worked so well in Iraq and Afghanistan. Trillions of dollars and thousands of lives for people that don't even know what help looks like.
I wasn't necessarily saying that it's a great idea, but it would be the only way to "solve" the Middle East.

Besides, Iraq and Afghanistan were never intended to be full-scale occupations. You don't send an initial force of 150,000 to occupy a country like Iraq; you send half a million.
