He used to be interesting. Now he's a discreet capitalist...

I dunno... he's not as "clever" as he used to be. I wondered if he'd turned into Disney and just got others to come up with stuff?

Banksy is a shitty artist. $20 Million for Graffiti? Warhol flipped over in his grave. Only Critic will like him.
I think he's fantastic. Love his stuff. Much better than Warhol. And as you can tell, I am not in to 'art' as in artsy fartsy paintings and sculptures. I like Banksy type stuff.

Re: British Artist Banksy Opens Anti-theme Park 'Dismaland'

There were many artists stuff on show. I'm on my way back from it now and I loved it. The staff were great. I can't post pics or vids from my phone anymore for some reason. Well worth £5 IMO well worth it. I had to leave early as the last train was 21.55hrs would have been great to stay longer

In conclusion though I despise some artists who's work was displayed and am not too fond of banksy, this was great

Is the 'Selfie Hole' as fun in person as it appears to be in the photo?

Walked past that one and didn't go in one tent as we had to leave for the last train. The Ferris wheel was funny. People were queuing but they still left half the seats empty. The main gallery was great.

The staff were hilarious. You had to go through a fake security check at the entrance where they picked people out, I managed to avoid that and just as I was going in the girl deliberately dropped the flyers and SLOWLY picked them up leaving me standing there waiting! They would also give you shit, tell you to piss off as you were leaving exhibits. Was waiting for one exhibit and a staff member came up to me and asked if I knew what I was waiting for, I said no and she replied "good, it's a bunch of shit" - was Damian hurst room so she was sort of right

Had some great music throughtout that really made the atmosphere

Behind where the big screens there was a section with relationship quotes. Negative things like "I miss the begging of our relationship when you were intresting" ect. I said to the girl I was with 'I bet that wall has caused probkems with couples' as if on demand a couple walked past with the guy saying to his GF 'you really think that's me!' Hahaha

I think the castle is pretty neat looking and I like the Ariel.

Re: British Artist Banksy Opens Anti-theme Park 'Dismaland'

I don't like Warhol. Same shit as Banksy's. I like crazy insane artists. Like Dali, Pollack, Caravaggio, Gauguin even Emily Dickinson. Ones that don't sell to the norm. Real artists.

Ariel looks the same from all sides, it's is a strage optical illusion as it does look like a blury image from all sides. I went in evening so saw the place in daylight and at night and the castle looks great in the dark
