Ah, armchair pilots.....got to love 'em.....whilst what happened is far from ideal, why not wait for a proper investigative report to be released, look at the findings, and lets see what washes out from that. Ever taxied a B747, at night, perhaps for the first time at that Airport, unfamiliar surroundings, poor lighting etc., etc. ??

Ah durt....what if the yellow lines are obscured, unlit, poor ATC instructions, and perhaps the swiss cheese effect of all the holes lining up at the same time just happen to coincide.....now, not saying that what happened was right, but far too many people criticise without having the faintest notion of what they are going on about.
