Fucking savages  I recall watching a documentary about this phenomenon a few years ago, with Lucy Ash from BBC as the reporter. I still haven't forgotten the Chechnyan bride who was the main subject of the film. The sadness in her eyes and her resigned attitude were extremely heartbreaking to watch  |

If I was a woman and was kidnapped, the next morning they'd find the whole family dead with a knife in the heart of each person. As far as I would be concerned, I was never there. Either that or set the house on fire after pouring kerosene over everybody while they were sleeping. Either one of those options will take their minds off of me, while I walk home.

I would be willing to bet that they are careful in their "abductions." I don't think it would well received if they were to abduct a pretty young relative of a drug lord, a crime boss, or even an influential politician. I imagine these abductions take place in areas of poverty, where the folks have basically zero recourse. Strange customs around this world of ours.
