Re: BREAKING NEWS: Malaysia Airlines Says It Has Lost Contact with Its Flight f I believe that there may be ACARS data sent to to Boeing/GE/RR, that could shed light on the engine status at time of failure. This would be live data received, as opposed to waiting for FDR analysis. Might highlight what happened. |

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Malaysia Airlines Says It Has Lost Contact with Its Flight f If it were a terrorist attack, wouldn't the terrorists want to come out and claim it? |

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Malaysia Airlines Says It Has Lost Contact with Its Flight f It might have just been two free agents with stolen passports and sympathies to the cause. "Terrorist" is such a widespread blanket term now that it no longer refers exclusively to agents of a larger organization working on orders and within a network. If it was just two guys with balls and weapons, then the only people who can claim credit are just as dead as the rest of the passengers. |

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Malaysia Airlines Says It Has Lost Contact with Its Flight f Maybe not. Like someone said earlier in the thread, it took years for that missing French flight to be found and analyzed. |

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Malaysia Airlines Says It Has Lost Contact with Its Flight f 8 countries; Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, Philippines, China & the United States sent warships, military helicopters and S&R vessels with military personnel to search and locate the missing Malaysian Airlines MH370, still there are no updates even after 24 hours of vanish. News also says, the Vietnamese military and border control is lacking to release their costal borders for foreign S&R personnel to enter and locate the missing MH370. ![]() |

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Malaysia Airlines Says It Has Lost Contact with Its Flight f All the king's men, eh? ![]() But it could be worse. The original flight path could have been reversed, in which case China would have locked this whole story down tighter than a dolphin's butthole. |
