Re: BREAKING NEWS: Malaysia Airlines Says It Has Lost Contact with Its Flight f Looks like whatever it was has sunk, they are probably doing sonar sweeps in the hope of picking a signal from the black-box....The mystery continues. |

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Malaysia Airlines Says It Has Lost Contact with Its Flight f The Malaysian authorities have a lot to answer for, they obviously withheld vital information from the start and are responsible for hampering rescue efforts. |

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Malaysia Airlines Says It Has Lost Contact with Its Flight f Especially China is not very happy for what Malaysian authorities (knowingly) did, the time is ticking and whithin 20 days even the last sign of life from the crash position indicator will die. Once we've lost that, we've lost all the rest including CVR and FDR. And the truth is recorded there. And it's not easy to track down the signal as (if i'm correct it can be detected whithin two miles, or three, the receiver must be already over the crash site) :( Thanks to malaysian authorities, the search area has now been narrowed to the half of the planet, we have hundreds of planes and ships fully equipped for SAR operations, but we have no clue about where the fuck to send them. To search randomly is not a good idea and a waste of time and money, to say the least. |

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Malaysia Airlines Says It Has Lost Contact with Its Flight f The Australians are sending out some of the best equipped aircraft in the world for this kind of reconnaissance, but the areas they're having to search are so vast and the planes have a maximum four round trip due to fuel limits....The USA could help out with in flight refuelling if the RAAF doesn't have the ability ![]() |
