I still think the Malaysian government knows more than they are saying about this. They have their PR on full drive just as the airline trying to use the captain as a scapegoat....And they still haven't released what was in the cargo hold.

Man, I hate to say it but I have the same feeling that this could be part of a much bigger thing.
I don't know why someone would go to all this trouble just so the wreckage would be hard to find And add to that theoretically the plane had enough fuel to get to Afghanistan, Pakistan or any number of places with a high percentage of Islamic Militants. Maybe its a hostage thing?

None of this makes any sense at face value.

The plane could have made a stop at Keeling island and refueled no problem. Only about 500 people on the island.

Looks like the only explanation that makes sense right now. And reading between the lines in the media reports etc, it seems that's what they're thinking as well.

Everyone seems to be forgetting that planes have disappeared for years before being found.

The way it disappeared is very strange I admit, but overall the situation isn't that weird until it ends up maybe hitting a building somewhere.

The hard left turn was programmed into the flight plan…presumably by the Pilot.

(Either the flight was commandeered by a group with at least one professionally trained pilot among them or one of the pilots in control programmed the new off-route flight plan into the flight management system.)

Sounds like the Pilot is our man. What group (if any) is he then tied into? Or is he a rouge Pilot with other motives?

It would be interesting to know the results of the voice pattern checks, they must have 100's of hours of the Captains voice in flight record vaults...Was it the Captains or co-pilots voice?

YES! The pilots on the site you provided have been talking about lands on islands pretty much after the first 24hrs this plane went missing....I say again, the Malaysian authorities are without doubt hiding\withholding information.
