Brazil - Artist Oliver Tree Dies In Helicopter Crash
Oliver Tree has died after a tragic helictoper crash in Brazil ... according to local authorities. CNN Brazil -- citing Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro -- reported Tree and 5 others were killed after two helicopters collided above an electric vehicle yard in Southwest Rio de Janeiro Sunday morning.  ·

Oliver Tree was very important and special to me and my friends. I'm truly in complete shock and sorrow. Thinking back through all his songs, it's almost as if he had some premonition of his own death. Or precognition. One of his last music videos he was imitating a helicopter and posing at an aircraft graveyard. I just cannot believe this. We had tickets to see him in Oakland CA, we were willing to risk our lives to see him. Lol. I just loved him so much, his lyrics were simple and got me. His personas and characters were so fun and funny. Anyway, this hit so close to home. My prayers and condolences go to everyone on those aircraft. Just horrific. I don't care how stupid it sounds. But goddam I loved you Oliver.
