Boy Cuts Off His Penis Because He Had Too Many Unwanted Erections

A boy cut off his own penis because he was experiencing too many unwanted erections, according to a statement released by hospital officials in China.

Around 10:00 am Saturday, the 17-year-old boy of Quanzhou, in southeast China was lying on his bed and removed his penis with a kitchen knife.

Hearing their child scream, his parents ran to his room, but were barely able to stand when they saw the terrible and bloody scene.

The parents quickly borrowed their neighbor’s car and rushed their child to a nearby hospital, where doctors worked to stop the bleeding. The boy was initially listed in serious condition. Due to the nature of the injury, the child was transported to another hospital where he underwent a complex surgery to further suppress bleeding and reconnect the cut organ.

The boy later told doctors at the hospital that he took the drastic measure after feeling ashamed when he experienced frequent and unwanted erections.

“Taking a knife to the private part is not something that most people ever dream of doing, which leads us to believe that the young man was experiencing some other form of mental suffering or in need of professional help,” a doctor at the hospital said.
The teenager has since dropped out of school and is spending his days confined to his family home, with little to do.

“He is a very bright guy, and often helps around the house quietly, but has difficulty socializing,” the child’s mother said. “We do not even have a computer at home, so we have little to keep him busy,” the mother added.

“Talk about taking drastic measures. I think that schools need to educate children of age that having erections is pretty normal and there is no need to cut off the private part,” Grace Ward, 34, of Tucson, Arizona told YourJewishNews.com after being asked for comment on the boy who cut off his own penis.

Fortunately for the child, the reconstructive surgery has been a success, with doctors having confidence that, over time, the child will be able to lead a normal and sexually active life.

that's kind of random. this happened in china and the first person they sought for comments was some woman from arizona on a jewish website? also, maybe it wasn't just the fact that he thought it wasn't normal. maybe he seriously was experiencing excessive erections. there are people who have chronic masturbation, and will get sexually aroused all the time. either way, nobody just cuts their penis off without some kind of contributing factor like mental anguish.
