Heart warming story. I wonder though, how exactly does a child get that over weight? It's mentioned in the article that she has mental issues and eats for comfort. Surely her parents should be stopping her from doing this for the sake of her physical health?

Sometimes, it's genetics. The girl may suddenly grow 6 inches of the Summer. They told my great niece she was 12 pounds overweight when she was 6, but, she sprouted up. She wasn't looking like this girl, but, weight has gone up for adults, too. If you watch old movies, all the women, except maids and grandmothers were smaller than a size 10. Now the average side for a woman is 16. |
