I went to school with a guy who's father was killed on Whitey's orders. He owned a bar and booked some numbers on the side. Mr Bulger wanted a piece and was told no. He sent two guys who pistol whipped him and then shot him in front of his girlfriend and the entire bar. With the warning of "No one saw nothing" they left. The two guys were found not guilty. The only one to testify against them was the girlfriend. Bulger is a real fucking Robin Hood.

Ironically my friend's father was named “Whitey” McGrail. Ever been to Whitey's on W. Broadway? A.K.A. Croke Park.
