Boob Job At Age 84

If you thought that after a certain age women opted for facelifts when they visited the cosmetic surgeon, think again.

Meet Marie Kolstad, who is as pleased as punch with her new boob job at the age of 84. This makes her the oldest person on earth to have a breast augmentation operation.

The glamourous Californian spent £5,000 on surgery to have implants and a breast lift, going from a 36B to a 38D.

Marie has been a widow since 1992 and says she's been single for some time.

She explained: "I would love to find a new man. But all the men my age want women 20 years younger. I thought I'd better take action so I can compete."

"I want someone successful but not because I want wealth. I just want someone who can stand on his own two feet and not need looking after."

"The boob job will help me because it's made me feel good about myself. People say I look 20 years younger. My girlfriends are all asking me about it and wondering how it feels."

Marie has four children, 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and said her youngest daughter Renee wasn't happy about her decision to get a boob job.

Marie said: "She didn't like that I was getting surgery. She was worried about the anaesthesia, but she also didn't think that I needed to have anything done to my body."

"Renee wanted to take me so she could see first hand what was going to happen. She was very nervous and had a lot of questions, but I was happy it was going ahead."

She added: "If I wasn't already in great health I wouldn't have done it. Why shouldn't I look as good as I feel?"
