These kind of things make me want to put my kids in a little protective bubble and never let them out of my sight. I know that isnt an option, but I want to. It would kill me if something happened to my kids.

It's sad that you can't do that anymore without having eyes in the back of your head or a gun. My 18 year niece said about a week ago that the only people she trusts when it's dark are the old drunken guys! They're usually skinny and easy to knock down.
