I've always been afraid of this happening to me,as I'm rather shy with a small circle of friends and not hugely social and I don't have a lot of relatives.So I always make friends with my neighbours,or at least have a nodding aquaintance with them so if I pop off somebody will give enough of a shit to check.When Bridget Jones expressed a similar fear in the movie(about being eaten by Alsatians) I felt better knowing I can't be the only one who worries about weird shit like this.

My downstairs neighbor had a stroke and lay on her living room floor for 3 days until her kids - wondering why she wasn't answering the phone - stopped by to check on her. That was sad enough... but eight years? Wow.
