The racial assaults are mounting nationwide since the Ferguson, Missouri, death of Michael Brown, and subsequent riots and looting. And so is the denial on behalf of police who refuse to call these obvious hate crimes what they are.

Last night, we reported on the White Marine in Mississippi who was beaten into a coma by a mob of 20 Blacks shouting racist slurs, telling him the restaurant he was eating in was not, “safe for White people” – in a reported, ‘revenge attack,’ for Ferguson. Local police unbelievably said this was not a, ‘hate crime’.

Today we report on another blatantly racist Black-on-White attack that also has police running away from the ugly truth.

A Maryland neighborhood has been terrorized three times in one week by violent attacks on White residents by Black assailants – one of whom has now been caught – but will not be charged with any hate crimes.

The latest attack resulted in injuries so severe that it will take plastic surgery to properly fix the wounds caused to the face of one 25 year old male victim, reports Baltimore’s WJZ.

After leaving his lifeguard job at Otterbein Swim Club Thursday night in the Federal Hill neighborhood, the victim was attacked by three Black youths who yelled, “Hey, white boy!” before they threw a large rock at his face.

After the rock hit the white victim, causing a 2-inch gash, suspect Sidney Joyner, 19, tried to stab him with a knife, but the man dodged the blade.

Joyner was found later that evening by police, and was charged with armed robbery, robbery and two counts of assault. Officers also charged Joyner in another robbery and assault from a prior racial attack Tuesday night.

This victim’s family is outraged that Joyner was not charged with a hate crime, according to the report. And his father said he also should have been charged with attempted murder fro trying to stab his son.

“I feel like this was attempted murder,” said the lifeguard’s father. “An injury that severe definitely wasn’t an intent to injure—it was an intent to kill.”

The victim’s father also questioned the police’s reasoning in not addressing the blatantly racist nature of the attack. “If roles were reversed, it definitely would be no question whether it was a hate crime or not,” he said.

Play the game, switch the races from Black to White. If Joyner were a White man yelling “Hey ******,” before beating and attempting to stab a Black victim, do you think for one minute the police would fail to call it a hate crime?

Don't you realize that only white people can commit a hate crime in the US? The marine who was beaten by the gang of 20 entered the first restaurant after being warned in the parking lot that whites shouldn't go in and a verbal exchange took place between himself and a couple of his attackers. He then traveled one mile down the road to another restaurant to eat, the mob followed him and that was where the attack took place. If that isn't a textbook case of hate crime, I don't know what is. And yes he was warned, but what reaction would have taken place if the switching game were applied? My guess is the exact same scenario and the 20 would be tried for a hate crime.

Animals are more accountable for their actions legally than an African American Male these days, apparently i should be able to go out and assault whomever i want if something i see on the news upsets me or someone says a word that hurts my feelings.
