Are you implying the US gov't released all those videos? There's a difference between them not prosecuting ppl posting pics online and them not releasing what they have. They probably aren't worried about offending "folks like us" but more like terrorists or even just Muslims worldwide.

Anyhow, I wouldn't be surprised if it was never leaked. Maybe they will release it though. Even with that, people probably won't believe- the same way they didn't with Obama's birth certificate.
