In most cases, than not, you would sit many hours at the club doing much of nothing. It would however provide a network if you actually wanted to do any of those things on a national level. But I know a few myself, that don't induldge in ilegal shit, just provide other services to the club. Smaller clubs, or support clubs in rural areas blow, and you could end up being extorted yourself. Clubs generally demand their members chip in when a brother, or the club is in need. If the club does not have any type of sufficient revenue coming in, then the club demands any members use their personal wages. If your club has crooked politics, you could find yourself giving large sums of your paycheck every week to some phantom causes. Not to mention, the first thing you'll have to do is hand over the title to your ride to the president.  |

My brother was part of a "riding club" for a few years. They raised money for kids charities, among other things.  I was happy when his then girlfriend started sleeping with one of the other bikers, and he ended most ties with that group, except at Bike Night at QSL.  |
