Sharp has taken the wraps off a 90-inch LED TV set, what it says is the largest TV on the planet. Get ready for disappointment because watching the summer Olympics on anything else will pale in comparison.

The stats for this behemoth of a set are jaw dropping: 4 feet tall, 6 feet and 8 inches wide, 5 inches deep and 141 pounds. Despite those dimensions, Sharp says the AQUOS TV can still be easily mounted on a wall.

Full HD (1080p)
3D technology, including two pairs of 3D glasses
Sharp’s SmartCentral, with streaming apps such as Netflix, YouTube, Hulu Plus and more
Web browsing
Skype capability

1080p? shouldnt the resolution be higher for a tv that big? i'm sure some newer tv have resolutions in the 2000s .. but cool beans, its 3d too.
