Bees Attack People at Phoenix Mosque
http://www.12news.com/news/local/val...sque/114762345 Nearly two dozen people were stung outside of a Phoenix mosque. Firefighters sprayed mounds of foam to get the bees under control. "It's always a bad situation when you're talking about Africanized bees, because once one bee creates a pheromone which sends off the other bees to attack," said Joseph Mikesell with Truly Nolen. There were reports of over 20 people stung, one person stung so bad he had to go to the hospital. "What people just need to understand is they cannot outrun them, they're not going to sink under water and stay away from them, they're not going to just knock them off, they need to stay away from them. If you see bee activity get inside, don't try and take care of it yourself, contact a professional and let us take care of the situation," said Mikesell. The bees come in swarms of hundreds and even into the thousands. It's not clear what caused the attack, but the one thing experts say is not to eat bananas, because the scent is an attack pheromone and it agitates the bees. |

Re: Bees Attack People at Phoenix Mosque
More of these bees, please! ALL mosques should be required to have at least 1 Africanized bee hive in it and be fully occupied. If it is less than fully occupied, tear down the disgusting mosque. No more mosques in the US. They are really only just Terror Centers. |

Re: Bees Attack People at Phoenix Mosque
No doubt the ACLU is looking for SOMETHING wrong on the part of the municipality, county, state, and country. My message here, people is that those bees are quite dangerous and it takes very little to provoke them. certain fruits, "sweet" vegetables because fruit nectar, pollen, juices, oils, are all what attrracts bees...certain ones attract them more than others. Just be careful out there. |

Re: Bees Attack People at Phoenix Mosque
Yeah, I've always heard that people that are musty and have a general smell of a$$ attract insects. That's a bit of a scary thought . Summer time is upon us and showering every 10 days ain't gonna cut it . This is by no means only a muslin issue , but again I will be recieving hate mail as follows : Monday - Friday 8am-5pm |
