Deck the halls and trim the beards — or is it the other way around?

A new Christmas accessory — appropriately called Beard Baubles — lets men festoon their facial hair with colorful holiday ornaments.

The idea stemmed from Mike Kennedy and Pauline Ashford, who both work for London based advertising firm, Grey London.

"They were asked to work on an annual staff Christmas card and took it one step further," Ollie Dearn, a manager at the firm, told The Daily News.

And just like that, a viral sensation was born.

"It's been crazy," Dearn said, adding that orders have piled up from the U.S. and the U.K. to countries as far away as New Zealand and Iran.

The flashy, quarter sized baubles attach to a beard with a bobby pin and cost about $11.

And these baubles are more than just ornamental — proceeds from sales go to benefit an Australian charity, Beard Season, which seeks to raise melanoma awareness in men.

All proceeds benefit Beard Season, a nonprofit raising awareness for melanoma.

Its founder, Jimmy Niggles, lost one of his friends to the deadly cancer and founded Beard Season in remembrance of him, according to Fast Company, which first reported the story.

But there is a bit of beard — er, bad — news for those hoping to trim their trim. The baubles, which are peddled on British retail site Tictail, are sold out for now.

I don't know what camp beard is, but, you see some crazy beards and mustaches at those conventions every year.

I think they should all be shaven, unless very nicely trimmed and soft.
